I Don’t Wear a Mask, Because…

…I never leave the house. I stay home or in my own vehicle so I have never had a reason to wear a mask yet. But on Friday, I have to go get blood work done and rest assured, I will be wearing my mask–for multiple reasons but the biggest one is, it’s the law right now.. Second biggest reason, they ask you to wear one to the appointment. If I want to go to their house, I follow their house rules or I find somewhere else to go. It’s that simple. If it’s the law, you wear it. If you go someplace that requires it, you wear it or you don’t go. Pretty simple.

Strangely, America and all it’s ‘freedoms’ make us look really strange–and by strange, I mean stupid–to other countries. They look at us in America like we’re crazy for not wearing masks. It’s such a simple thing to do and we are obstinate and stubborn about it.

While I type this I have an obstinate and stubborn cockatoo telling me he wants my Diet Dr. Pepper can…. Sorry, Memphis, but no. So he bit my cup, my paper cup and I had soda all over the place. He’s a spoiled child.

Goes to show, Americans are like children, stubborn children. They are refusing to wear their masks and it’s hurting everyone. Making covid messes all over the place. But no one cleans those up. People are dying. But it’s still a hoax to some people? I don’t understand who would still consider this a hoax after everything.

I don’t understand when it’s the law in Texas, why are people not wearing  masks? I was in the car at a convenience store yesterday. I watched people come out of their cards–a father with a mask, a mother with a mask, a little girl about 12 with no mask. Why?

So I’ll end with something happy. A Friend of mine, Kathy LaFollett, just released a new book. Check it out:

I love you all!

Love and stuff,
